    Hello WABC family!

    Hello WABC family!

as we step into 2026. I’m truly looking forward to all that the Lord will continue to do through us this year. It is such a joy to serve alongside a church family that loves Jesus and loves one another so well.

Our choir has been hard at work preparing new music for the spring, and I can’t wait to share these songs with you. In the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing:

    • Christus Victor (Amen)
    • The God We Love (Nicene Creed)
    • Christ Is Mine Forevermore
    • The Lord Is My Salvation

Each of these songs beautifully proclaim the truth of the gospel and the greatness of our God and I’m excited for us to lift our voices together in worship!

Our Sunday School Teacher Luncheon that was on Sunday February 1st, went very well and was a meaningful and beneficial time together. I’m so thankful for our teachers and for the faithful way they serve and shepherd their groups. Please be on the lookout for more information about the HOME Team model we are working towards implementing in our groups. Your leaders will be sharing more details soon, if they haven’t already.

Thank you for being such a loving and faithful church family. Please don’t hesitate to let me know how I can serve you in any way.

    In Christ,
    TK

    WABC family,

Thank you for being such an amazing congregation—one that truly loves Jesus and loves people! Our recent caroling event was a blessing, and I know our homebound members cherished every moment. I also want to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated in our Christmas Night of Worship on the 14th. It was a wonderful evening of lifting our voices in praise to our Savior.

Choir rehearsals will resume Wednesday, January 7th. If you enjoy worshiping in a community of voices, we would love for you to come and be part of our choir! We will be working on new songs that will continue to enhance our Sunday morning worship hour.

As we begin a new year, be on the lookout for several discipleship opportunities we are planning. One of these will be a Sunday School teacher luncheon on Sunday, February 3rd, at 12:00 PM. If you are one of our Sunday School teachers, please make plans to join us for this time of encouragement and connection.

I’m excited to see all the Lord will do at WABC in 2026!

    God Bless,
    TK

    December 2025

    WABC family,

What a great year it has been! I am so excited about our Christmas Night of Worship on December 14th at 5:00 PM, with a potluck finger food fellowship to follow in the Activities Building. Our choir and worship team have been working very hard, and I’m looking forward to singing songs not only about the birth of Jesus, but songs that are saturated with the gospel.

On December 7th at 2:00 PM, we will meet at Cypress Cove to go caroling. We’ll be visiting our TK homebound members and several living facilities throughout the Shoals to bless them with Christmas carols.

I am also very grateful for the direction of our Sunday School groups. If you are not involved in a Sunday School class, you are missing a tremendous blessing. Our classes foster spiritual growth and provide wonderful community. Be on the lookout for discipleship training opportunities coming in 2026!

Thank you for being such a wonderful church family, and thank you for loving the King family so well.

    God Bless,
    TK

    November 2025

    Woodward family,

It has been a great fall so far, and I’m so thankful for all that God is doing in our midst!

Worship Choir has been going wonderfully on Wednesday nights — we’re preparing music for Christmas in addition to Sunday worship. It’s such a joy to see so many using their gifts to glorify the Lord through music. Our first Family Worship night was a wonderful time of praising the Lord together, and I’m already looking forward to the next one!

On Sunday, December 7th, we’ll be going caroling to our homebound members. Please join us that afternoon at 2:00 PM — it’s always such a special time of encouragement and joy. Then, on Sunday, December 14th, at 5:00 PM. we’ll gather for our Christmas Night of Worship! This will be a beautiful time of worship as we celebrate Jesus’ birth, life, death, and resurrection together.

In Discipleship, I’m thrilled to share that we’ve launched two new Sunday School classes:

    • Adult 2: for those in their late 30s to 40s
    • Adult 3: for those in their 50s and 60s

If you’re not already plugged into a class, now is a great time to jump in!

To help each class grow deeper in community and mission, we’re encouraging every Sunday School group to develop a few key leadership roles:

    • Hosts – guide conversations toward life transformation, not just information
    • Organizers – plan fellowships and align class activities with the church calendar
    • Mission Leaders – lead outreach and service efforts
    • Encouragers – offer follow-up, prayer, and care for class members

These roles will help strengthen our classes and equip us to better care for one another as our church continues to grow.

Lastly, we’re still in need of volunteers to help run our cameras and video switcher on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested in serving in this vital ministry, please let me know!

I’m genuinely excited about all that’s ahead this fall and am praying consistently that we would
seek the Lord’s wisdom in all things.

    In Christ,
    TK

    WABC family,

I am so thankful to serve alongside each of you. This time of year brings so much joy, but I also know it can be a busy time for many. Please know that I’m here for you and available in any way you might need.

It has been an exciting past couple of weeks. We had VBS and it was such a wonderful time of teaching and singing God’s word. Me and Maegan as well as Tyler, Ryann and Conner attended the SBC annual meeting in Dallas. I was very encouraged by the missionaries we commissioned overseas, as well as the churches in North America joined together to reach people for Jesus.

It has been a true joy to sing and worship with all of you every Sunday. I’m especially thankful for our amazing worship team.

As we continue to grow, we do have a few needs: We are currently looking for volunteers to help run our cameras and video switcher on Sunday mornings. • If you play an instrument, we’d love for you to consider joining our band! If you’re interested in helping in either of these areas, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to talk with you.

Please know that I’m praying for each of you. I’m grateful for this church family, and I love you all.

A big thank-you to Andy Thompson and Ryan Crumley for their faithful teaching and leadership in this group each Sunday morning.
