Our Mission

Sunday Morning

We joyfully welcome children of all ages (birth through 5th grade) to Sunday School. Here they will be introduced to Jesus through age-appropriate Bible stories, foundational biblical truths, and prayer.

For the safety and security of your children, all children must be checked in at the Children’s Welcome Desk upon arrival. Parents will receive a security code corresponding to their child’s name tag which will be required at pick-up.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade: Following the conclusion of Sunday School, we kindly ask parents to promptly pick up their children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade from their classrooms. We then invite families to bring their children into the main Worship Service, which begins at 10:30 AM.

The beginning of our worship service, with elements like congregational singing, prayer, and Scripture reading, provides a valuable opportunity for families to worship together. We believe children will spiritually benefit from observing their parents and their wider faith family by including them in worship.

During the sermon portion of the main Worship Service, we offer a dedicated Children’s Church time for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This provides an age-appropriate environment where they can learn and engage with biblical truths in a way that is tailored to their understanding and developmental stage. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary and escorted by our children’s church volunteers and security team. Parents can pick up their children from class at the conclusion of the worship service.

Once a month, we invite kids to stay for the entire service during our Family Worship Sunday.

Nursery – Pre-K: Children in our nursery and preschool classes may remain in their Sunday School classrooms throughout the entirety of our morning Worship Service. Parents can pick them up directly from their classrooms at the conclusion of the service.

Wednesday Night

For the Fall and Spring semesters, we offer two 12 week sessions of discipleship classes on Wednesday nights. These evenings are designed to be interactive and fun as we invite our WABC kids to participate in music, scripture memory, Bible study, and missions activities.

During the summer months we enjoy fellowship and building connections with our community through various family-oriented activities.
